Puppy Application Form

How the Cane Corso Application Process Works

The application is not a formality and it is not a purchase button. It is how we learn enough about your household to match you with the right puppy from the right litter — or to tell you honestly if a Cane Corso is not the right breed for your situation. Here is what happens after you submit it.

  • We read every application ourselves, usually within a couple of days, and follow up by phone or email with any questions.
  • We talk through your home, your schedule, your experience with large working breeds, and what you want from the dog.
  • If it is a good fit, we place you on the list for a current or upcoming litter and confirm your deposit terms in writing.
  • You meet the parent dogs in person or by video call, and we keep you updated with photos as the litter grows.
  • At eight weeks we match individual puppies to individual homes based on temperament, not on first come, first served.
  • Your puppy goes home ICCF and AKC dual registered, vet checked, up to date on shots and worming, and covered by a written health contract.

What We Look For in a Home

Cane Corsos are large, powerful, intensely loyal guardians. A well-bred one is calm and steady in the house, but the breed needs early socialization, consistent structure, and an owner who is genuinely committed to training. We look for families who understand that commitment and have the space, time and patience for it. We would far rather turn down a placement than see a dog rehomed at eighteen months.

Previous large-breed experience helps but is not required. What matters more is a realistic picture of the next decade: secure fencing, a plan for training, someone home enough that the dog is not isolated, and a willingness to stay in touch with us for the life of the dog. Our code of ethics spells out what we hold ourselves to in return.
